Get $50/mo in cash assistance

If you need help paying for groceries, you're not alone. Seeds of Hope provides $50 in monthly grocery support for EBT users who are open to sharing feedback and helping us improve the program for others.

How it works

Step 1

Get your monthly grant

Once verified, your $50 is added to an account called Seeds of Hope on the 5th of each month.

Step 2

Buy groceries

Purchase fresh produce and dairy using your usual payment methods.

Step 3

Upload receipts

Upload your receipt and we’ll add up to $50 worth of eligible items to your Enrich Balance.

Step 4

Use funds flexibly

Redeem your Enrich Balance for gift cards anytime, so you decide how to put your support to work.

Help us improve

We're starting small—just 10 participants—so we can learn what truly helps. You'll get personalized support, and we'll check in from time to time with quick surveys or optional conversations. What you share will help us grow this into something that supports many more families.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible?

Seeds of Hope is open to individuals with an active EBT card who live in the US.

We're currently selecting up to 10 participants for this pilot program so we can offer more personalized support.

As part of the program, participants should be open to occasional check-ins, short surveys, or optional conversations to help us improve.

How do I apply?

You can apply for Seeds of Hope by clicking the application link.

As part of the application, you'll be asked to:

  • Share a bit about yourself
  • Verify your identity (ID upload)
  • Upload 5 recent receipts showing EBT purchases
  • Confirm you're open to providing feedback

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Our team reviews each application and selects participants based on eligibility and availability.

How will I know if I'm accepted?

If selected, you'll receive an email using the address you provided in your application.

From there, you'll log into the Enrich app to access your account and track your funds.

What happens if I don't use the full $50 in a month?

Any unused balance will roll over to the next month, so you won't lose it.

How does the program work?
  • Each month, $50 becomes available on the 5th (or the Friday before if the 5th falls on a weekend)
  • Shop as you normally would and purchase eligible items like:
    • Fresh produce
    • Dairy products
  • Upload your receipts through the Enrich app
  • Once approved, the cost of eligible items is credited to your Enrich Balance

This approach keeps things flexible while supporting healthier food choices.

How do I redeem my Enrich Balance?

Funds in your Enrich Balance can be redeemed for a digital gift card through the Enrich platform.

This gives you the flexibility to choose how and where to use your support.

Does the program end?

Yes. Seeds of Hope is a pilot program running through December 31, 2026.

If selected, you'll receive monthly support starting from the month you join (if you joined before the 5th) through the end of the program.

Why do you ask for feedback?

Because we want to build something that actually works.

Participants may be invited to share feedback through short surveys or optional conversations. Your input helps us improve the program and expand support to more people over time.

What happens to my application data?

All the identity and address documents you provide will be deleted from our system after your application has been reviewed.

What do I have to pay to use this app?

All features in the app are absolutely free. You can upload receipts, connect your bank accounts and receive rewards and benefits all in one place.
